ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Rights Movement (PRM) has launched its official newsroom at prm.org.pk/news, a single home for the movement's statements, press releases and weekly updates.
The newsroom will carry regular coverage of PRM's activities across Pakistan: campaigns for constitutional rights and civilian supremacy, the movement's legal and civic work, organizational announcements, and statements from the leadership, including Chairman Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and Chief Organiser Daniyal Abdullah.
Why a newsroom
Since its founding on 10 January 2026, PRM has grown through direct, person-to-person organizing, with membership handled over WhatsApp by the Chief Organiser. As the movement expands, the newsroom gives members, journalists and the public a reliable, public record of what PRM says and does, in its own words.
The movement's three-point agenda remains the frame for everything published here:
- Rights: defending the constitutional, human, social and economic rights of all citizens.
- Resistance: standing against injustice, oppression, corruption and abuse of power, always peacefully.
- Reforms: working for changes in laws, institutions and society that create a fair and dignified future.
What to expect
New articles will be published regularly, typically every week. Coverage will include reports on PRM's public activities, positions on national issues, profiles of the movement's wings and forums, and updates for members.
One message is all it takes to stand with the movement.
