Born Islamabad Field Public Policy Also Gen. Secretary, Islamabad City Council

Muhammad Daniyal Abdullah is a seasoned political worker and the Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Rights Movement, which he co-founded with Senator (R) Mushtaq Ahmad Khan.

Born in Islamabad, he brings a strong educational background in Public Policy and has published several research papers in the field, work that has earned international recognition and made him a respected voice in discussions on governance and the delivery of rights.

From student activism to national organizing

Daniyal's political journey began as a student activist campaigning for student-friendly education policies. His leadership showed early: he served as President of Islami Jamiat Talba, Islamabad, an experience that shaped his commitment to improving the educational landscape for students across the country. He also co-founded the Young Leaders Society in Pakistan, an initiative to nurture future leaders and foster civic engagement among youth.

A champion of local government

A persistent advocate for the restoration of local government in Pakistan, Daniyal co-founded the Islamabad City Council, a platform built to revitalize local governance and provide an alternate representative body in the absence of an official local government in Islamabad. As its current General Secretary, he works to ensure that local communities are heard and their concerns addressed.
